2) Podcast Task: Laura El Tantawy (A Small Voice) - 10/10/17

For our next Photography in Context lecture we had to listen to an interview with our next guest speaker, Laura El Tantawy. She touched on a many different topics in the interview, such as her schooling, job, new book etc. The notes I took while listening to the podcast can be seen below.

After listening to the podcast and looking at some photographs from her book 'IN THE SHADOW OF THE PYRAMIDS' I decided I wasn't really that interested in her work, however I can appreciate the political side to it and how important it is to document these things happening in Egypt. Therefore I decided not to attend this guest speaker talk.
