On Tuesday we had a workshop on how to use the digital Mamiya cameras, as well as a refresher on Capture 1. My notes from the session can be seen below.

I found the camera itself pretty self explanatory and I really like the look of the images. I also can't believe how big the sensor is on the cameras - over double the size of a 25mm sensor which is crazy. The most important thing I took away from the session was to remember to switch the camera to USB when you want it to tether - its always the most simple things I forget which then causes me problems!

We also had a go at taking some shots within different set-ups which included portraiture and macro shots. Below are some of the images we took in the workshop.

Overall I really enjoyed the workshop and I'd really like to try using the Mamiya camera, probably more likely in the studio than out on location - just because the kit is so expensive!
