Today we had a CV workshop with Jim and Charlotte, in which they went over some of the key things we need in our CV as well as key pieces of advice to make us stand out from other candidates. My notes from the workshop are below.

I found the session really helpful as the CV I brought to the workshop was looking pretty bare and I didn't really know how to word things correctly. The session has motivated me to sort out my CV so I can start contacting photographers to assist, and I'm excited to design it myself on InDesign instead of just a standard word document. Looking at different CV examples was also really helpful for pointing out what works and doesn't work, giving me ideas for my own photographic CV. This session also got me thinking about my own 'brand' for my photography, and I want to start brainstorming ideas for my own logo to put on headers of my documents as well as business cards.
