Today we had our interim presentations with Nick and Jim, in which we had to present our work so far with relevant research into artists, texts, our images so far, our different approaches, and our next steps. My presentation can be seen in screenshots below.

I also took some notes from their feedback in the session which are inserted below.

Overall I think the presentation went really well and they didn't seem to have any issues with the images I presented. As you can see from my notes I wrote down a few different artists for photographic ideas as well as layout ideas for the potential zine I'm creating out of my work. We also spoke about being really considered with my compositions when I'm shooting now, so I can work with them easily for my zine work, for instance not shooting things from a center perspective or shooting them with the intention of layering images up. We also spoke about the time frame of the project and not leaving it to late to begin creating the layout of my zine, and we also spoke about considering different paper stocks.

For my next steps I'm going to shoot the vintage sweets idea I spoke about in the presentation, both with and without people. I'm also going to keep shooting my happy and sad documentation on day to day life, and experiment with this by using different cameras - for instance 35mm, my digital camera, potentially the Mamiya etc.
