I scanned in my final roll of film for the project, capturing my happiness in day to day life. My contact sheet can be seen below.

Below are some larger images of my favourite photographs from this roll all shot in Bristol. These are all the photos I want to pick from to go into my zine work. To portray my happiness there's a mix of smiley faces I created/spotted, environments which make me happy, plants, and colours.

I love how the essence of autumn has been captured in this image, and the vibrant orange leaves on the trees make me happy. This was taken in Clifton.

This image was taken in Clifton at the Botanical Gardens, and I love the nature-y feel to the image. Again the bright autumn colours are what makes me happy, and I think the complimenting mix of yellow orange and green tones portrays this.

Here's another smiley face I found in Stokes Croft on my travels. I really like the way it's lit up in the image, making it the central attention of the viewer. I feel the smiley face being all lit up looks like a positive light in the darkness of the frame.

Here's another smiley face which I created myself from the effect of the cold weather on the glass of a bus stop in Filton. I quite like the juxtaposition of the smile in comparison to the more neutral (maybe even annoyed) expression of the individual walking past.

This final image was taken in Bristol city centre, and it makes me happy because of the beautiful pink and red tones in the sky. I'm really pleased with how well these colours were picked up considering I took the image on my 35mm point and shoot.

I'm really pleased with this shoot and I think it's a good one to end on. I now have so much different material to go through to edit down for the zine and I can't wait to get started!

I think my final outcome meets my intentions because I have been able to show two different sides to happiness through my 2 different...
