On Monday we had our final tutorial for the project, to which I brought the various edits of my final images and we made a final edit. I spoke to Liz and Nick about how I didn't think my studio work fit into the zine format with my 35mm photos, and proposed the idea of just having 4 studio photos printed and then choosing a series of 35mm work for a zine. This meant taking out the portraits and sweets photos I'd also chosen to put in my edit, but I just think that its better to have 2 strong subjects of work than having 4 mixed together. This also meant I didn't want to make the zine in the same format as 'Moises' by Mariela Sancari, but I thought about just making a saddle stitched book instead. This is because I wanted to have different subjects of photos to play with for this format, but now I'm just using one form of images.
After talking about this idea we went on to choose my best studio portraits and my best 35mm work to put in the zine, and the final edit can be seen below. The zine images are also in order of how they'll be seen in the final zine.

Throughout the rest of the tutorial we also saw all the other individuals' work in our group, and it was great to share final ideas with each other and see what everyone had produced. Overall I found the tutorial really helpful, and I can't wait to get started on the final layout and making of the final outputs.
