17) Tutorial with Nick about 2000 word essay - 12/2/18

On Monday I had a tutorial with Nick for our last Photography in Context task, the 2000 word essay. My notes from the tutorial can be seen below.
Prior to going to the tutorial I knew I wanted to speak about a Jason Evans image, specifically one from his Daily Nice series, exhibited on his 'The Daily Nice' website. I thought of a few topics of discourse I could speak about, such as where it's exhibited, the context (making) of the image and the viewer.
After presenting these ideas to Nick he helped me expand upon them, giving me relating points as well as various books to read including authors such as Charlotte Cotton, Lucy Soutter, Liz Wells, and Jason Evans' essay 'Online Photographic Thinking'.
Overall I feel the tutorial went really well and I feel pretty equipped to tackle the essay.
