On Friday I went to go shoot again at Greenbank View, I had no set plan for the shoot I just wanted to get to know the community more and potentially photograph one of their homes and take some more portraits. Once I got to the location I tried knocking on the doors of individuals I had already met at Greenbank, but most were not there. So I started speaking to more new people, and you can see my contact sheet from the day below.

Here are a few of my favourite images, which I will go into more detail about below.

These three images above display some images I took inside a man's home, and although I didn't catch his name I did find out that he lives in a van because he frequently travels to festivals and makes the props for individuals and for the stages. I found this really interesting because it highlights that everyone living in this community is living this way for different reasons. This focus of work for him is really reflected in the colourful, vintage and quirky look of his home. I love how with each shot I took, I discovered so many more little details in his home which not only reflect him as a person but also make really nice images. Sadly the individual did not want his portrait taken, but I would've loved to have a hasselblad image to accompany these interior shots.

Another of my favourite images from this shoot is this image above depicting the back of one of the caravans. It gave me the idea that I could potentially shoot this project with some sort of typography, having images of all the backs of caravans (as well as the front, accompanied also with a portrait of the individual living there). I also just love how this is considered as their back garden in a way, highlighted by the logs propped up against the back of the caravan.

My final 3 favourite images are these above, focused on the rubbish around Greenbank community. After talking to various residents they have stated that people come and dump their rubbish around their caravans, meaning the people living in vans are blamed for this excess rubbish. The photos above show how the residents are fed up of this, through various signs and making designated areas for their actual rubbish. It saddens me to see that people want to make these individuals' lives even harder than they have to be, and I want to highlight this to the viewer.

Overall I feel this second digital shoot went really well, and I’m starting to find patterns and styles in my work that I can continue with for the rest of the project. I just need to keep getting to know these individuals and talk to them in detail about their living space.
